THE UNINTENTIONAL USE OF FIRE

The Unintentional Use of Fire, Jason Penfold’s sixth collection is a burning expression of the chaotic of nature of fire and its uncontrollable nature. Each work smoulders with personal symbolic reflections of how fire and its inherent power destroys, transforms and creates.

Delicate structures of flame like butterflies and moths engulf Native Copper from naturally occurring deposits in Upper Michigan, capturing allusive connections to the untamed element, memories of intentional and unintentional actions and finding forgiveness within the flames.

Works are available POA. Click here for enquiries.
